Instructions for Authors

If your paper has been accepted for publication in the proceedings of MFCS 2007, we will need the final version of your paper soon (no later than on June 18; this deadline is firm). Please prepare your paper according to the Springer instructions.

The limit is 12 pages. Please put all your files into a fresh directory named mfcs-paperXXX where XXX is the number of your paper, then use tar to pack the directory into one file named mfcsXXX.tar, and finally use gzip to reduce the size. The resulting file should be sent to mfcs07@kam.mff.cuni.cz. In the covering e-mail message, please give an e-mail address where Springer can send the very final .pdf file of your paper for the last check.

Further, do not forget to fill and sign a copyright transfer form (the form is available at the Springer web site mentioned above). The form should be faxed to +420 549 491 820.

Please take into account that the sources of your paper will be modified manually by Springer technical staff who is responsible for removing all changes to the document layout. So, if you modify the page size, add negative vertical space, or change the default font, it is likely that your paper will look substantially different from what you expect.
