How to reach MFCS 2004 Site

From the airport Praha Ruzyne:

MFCS 2004 Airport  desk will be open on Sunday, August 22, 2004 at 10.00 till 21.00. The MFCS 2004 Airport desk will be located in the Arrival Hall - Ruzyne. After leaving the customs area - GATE 1,2,3 you will see the Taxi stand and the MFCS 2004 Airport desk. Microbus CEDAZ:
to reach the conference site (MFF UK - Malostranske namesti 25 or your hotel ) directly from the airport we recommend to take door-to-door service for 1-4 persons for a fixed price of 480 CZK for one way. The CEDAZ stand is located in front of the Airport arrival exit (outside) to the right of the taxi stand.

By public transportation:
Take bus No 119, and get of at its last stop (metro DEJVICKA). Then change to tram metro line A and go to the station Malostranska. There you  change and use tram No. 12, 20, 22  get off at stop Malostranske namesti. The Conference Site is in walking distance, maximum 2 minutes.

By taxi:
a taxi from the airport to the Dejvicka subway station costs about 500 CZK. Regular price in Prague is CZK 25 per kilometre plus CZK 25 starting rate (excluding hotel taxis).


From the railway station Praha-Hlavni nadrazi:

The transfer from the railway station Praha-Hlavni-nadrazi is more convenient and is provided by public transport. You can use the tram system. From the Praha-Hlavni-nadrazi you have to use tram No. 9 - direction Sídliste Repy - and get off on Ujezd stop, then change and use tram No. 12, 22 - direction Palmovka, Divoká Sarka - and get off on Malostranske namesti stop. Conference Site is in walking distance, maximum 5 minutes. Tickets available at yellow vending machines - you need transfer ticket for 12 CZK. Transportation in Prague

Excellent public transportation in Prague is provided by metro (subway), trams, and buses from 5 a.m. till midnight, and by night trams (non-stop). Tickets can be bought in yellow sales machines (in each metro station) or at newsstands for 12 CZK (valid transfer 1-hour ticket). A one day card can be purchased for 70 CZK and a one-week card for 250 CZK.
